Tile Installation for Showers, Floors and Backsplashes in Ponte Vedra

Three places decide whether the tile lasts. A shower fails behind the tile if the wall was never waterproofed. A floor fails at a door to a lanai or the outside if the material and the transition cannot take Florida moisture. A backsplash fails at the sink if it is only a picture of tile with no thought for the wet wall behind it.

Beachside houses add salt air to that list. Metal trims and anything that stays damp need to be chosen for this coast. Golf-community and inland Ponte Vedra houses still live with humidity and air conditioning that runs most of the year. We look at the room before we name a tile.

The photographs are completed Palmetto Ledger jobs: a mosaic tub and shower, and a kitchen backsplash. They are not labeled with a Ponte Vedra street. Shower and bath remodeling across the region is on the bathroom page. Kitchens are on the kitchen page. This page is the tile scope in the headquarters city.
